Rain

I was thrilled to receive Rain. I love the old, early 60's Econoline truck. This is not as detailed as the original, but is charming and a pleasure to look at. I like the four opening doors too.

I found a vintage Nylint toy recently. It is a Cadet GMC 18-Wheeler - No. 910 in the original box. It is a beautiful toy made for children 3 years and older. It was manufactured in the USA. The company was located in Rockford, Illinois.
I went online to see if the company still existed. I was delighted to learn that one of the founder's granddaughters was trying to resurrect the brand. I ordered the Sunshine & Rain combination with the booklet. I was very disappointed that the trucks were manufactured in China. I understand the difficulties of building such things in the US but, please find anywhere else in the world to make these but China! Have you retained any of the tooling from the original manufacturing? The workmanship was adequate, but the detail was lacking. The toys were labeled "For Adult Collectors Ages 13+". Obviously, your lawyers wrote that. I would find new legal representation! I appreciate your efforts and wish you well.

Nice quality toys

One of the side doors broke the second or third time I opened it. The tiny pin that holds it into the body snapped off.
